Shady Grove Pregnancy Center helps clients (women and men) facing an unplanned pregnancy to consider all of their options - abortion, parenting and adoption – as well as services beyond an initial pregnancy test, throughout a pregnancy and after delivery, including special services and support for dads-to-be. Shady Grove Pregnancy Center offers a wide range of classes on topics such as healthy relationships, money management, nutrition, pregnancy and parenting.

Interfaith Works provides emergency shelter services to clients. In addition to temporary shelter, IW also provides holistic case management services to each client. These services connect clients to other community resources, such as primary medical care, legal services, psychiatric services, permanent housing services, and vocational services.  IW operates Montgomery County’s only year-round, emergency shelters exclusively for women

Clarksburg CAN is a network of churches and organizations working together to promote short and long term solutions to the problem of hunger in the Clarksburg community.

Compassion International exists as an advocate for children, to release them from their spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enable them to become responsible and fulfilled Christian adults. To do our part as global citizens, the Clarksburg 5k is proud to support Compassion International. A portion of the proceeds from the Clarksburg 5k will be made to Compassion International to support their work on behalf of over 1 million children worldwide.
